With so many Point of Sale choices on the market, it pays to do your homework.
I just bought a restaurant that uses the CAKE POS system. I’m told its built to meet the demands of quick and full-serve restaurants. I really like what I see so far. Its intuitive, user-friendly and really functional.
Yesterday, I did payroll on CAKE and I can’t believe how little time it took compared to the system I used years ago. CAKE is cloud based so you never need to worry about losing contact with the system, even if the internet goes down. I love the daily reporting I getautomatically, and I can check sales and other key-data at any time from any device, even remotely. We use CAKE Payments which charges a low uniform fee for every transaction including American Express.
